The Proton, aside its unique retro look, is a one-off piece of wood, music art.

With a quilted cherry (reverse bookmatch) top, flame maple neck with rosewood fillet and sopele (mahogany) back, this takes tonewood to a whole new meaning! The walnut headstock and figured ash fretboard complete what in our opinion could sell for three times this price and indeed likely will as the DS brand takes off.

Mule bareknuckle p/ups drive a great tone out of this epically stunning guitar.
